Lowry Calls Out Alan Colmes for Mocking Death of Santorum’s Baby | Video | TheBlaze.com

I got this story from The Blaze, but it’s certainly not the only place I saw it today.  I couldn’t remain silent on this anymore.  It was so repulsive, I had to comment.

Okay, I’ll be honest and say I couldn’t bring myself to watch the video.  It hits a little too close to home for me.  If my daughter had not been stillborn, but had been born alive and then died, I think the loss would have been even worse than it was.  It would have been easier to take her home and show her to the boys and let them hold her and then have the funeral than it was to hand her over to a total stranger and then not see her again until she was brought to the church by the funeral home.  I wish the boys had seen her the way my husband and I were able to see her, before the funeral home dressed her and tried to do her make up.  They did the best job they could, but she looked completely different because her little body did not hold up well for the funeral.  My boys still thought she was beautiful, but how much better would it have been if they could have held her?  I know why the Santorum’s took their baby home and I envy them the opportunity.  This only makes me admire Rick Santorum more.  Anyone who mocks him or makes his actions seem less than they actually were is not deserving of mine or anyone else’s respect.  Alan Colmes is despicable to talk about this in any way.  Each couple handles this type of situation differently and no one has the right to judge the way anyone else deals with their loss.

Here’s the Alan Colmes, Rich Lowry video from Monday:

Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com

I can’t get the video to show up here, so please click on the above link to see it.  Below I have Rick Santorum tonight on Hannity talking about the apology he received from Alan Colmes.  He also talks a bit about why the family did what they did with the baby.  I for one need no explanation.  Here is Rick Santorum, being the class act I have always felt he was and is:

If I could vote today, my vote would be for Rick Santorum.  He has the values and principles I look for.

We can’t just vote for who we think can win.  It’s the Primary.  This is our choice to vote for who we really want.  How can the Lord step in when we need him if we only vote for who we think can win, but they don’t reflect the principles and values we want in a leader?  Why should He help if we don’t really look for what we need as a country?  We need to find who we think would truly be best for our country and THEN ask the Lord to step in.  He’ll do his part if we do ours.

That’s one of the things I learned from my Dad.  That’s what makes me his LOUD daughter!!

» Still No Justice For Brian Terry – Big Government

Why isn’t our country more outraged by this murder? The gun used in this murder was put in the killer’s hands as a direct result of our government’s actions. We must stand for this American hero. If the media won’t report about the reason for the death of Brian Terry, then we must speak for him and his family. The administration is too busy covering their butts to even bother with the atrocity they had a hand in committing.  We need to ask questions until there are answers for the Terry family.

I’m posting the video and some pictures from this article and I urge you to read about Brian Terry here.

Here’s just a sample from this article:

Just when you thought Attorney General Eric Holder couldn’t get more sordid and arrogant, he has. His testimony last week before the House Judiciary Committee took the scandal plagued Justice Department into territory not traveled since John Mitchell worked overtime to conceal administration wrongdoing nearly four decades ago…

As bad as Watergate was, it didn’t involve hundreds of murders, dead American law enforcement agents, and the illegal distribution of thousands of firearms. How long has it been since an Attorney General appeared before Congress and words such as “contempt” and “impeachment” were used by members as they were last week?

Many in Washington remain unconvinced of the extent of the destructive radicalism permeating this administration, and particularly the DOJ. In the speeches I give around the country, I lament that I wish Bill Clinton was still President. These are not your grandfather’s democrats. These are not just liberals. From bringing cases to force schools to allow child transvestites, to forcing schools to give Muslim teachers almost four weeks paid vacation for an Islamic pilgrimage, radicalism prevails.

Debunking the Biggest Lie: “Palestinian” – Atlas Shrugs

Debunking the Biggest Lie: “Palestinian” – Atlas Shrugs

As always, reading Atlas Shrugs blog by Pamela Geller is quite informative about the Middle East and the article she posted on her blog by Eli E. Hertz is no exception. I was taught as a child that Israel is God’s promised land for the Jews. I was confused as I grew up and realized many people don’t believe Israel is the Jewish people’s homeland. This article explains in a way that is very understandable and states why Newt Gingrich was right in his comments about the Palestinian people. I know many people will disagree with this article and hatred of the Jews and Israel runs rampant throughout the world, but since I stand with Israel, I found that this article is straight to the point.

Please read it, and thank you to Pamela Geller for making it available. Here’s just a little sample of the article:

Palestine is a Geographical Area, Not a Nationality December 11, 2011 | Eli E. Hertz

In an interview with Republican Presidential Primary front-runner and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, a former Professor and Historian, he explains his position on the Arab-Israeli conflict and states that the Palestinians are “an invented Palestinian people, who are in fact Arabs.”

It is time to tell the truth that is based on facts:

Until the Jews began returning to the Land of Israel in increasing numbers from the late 19th century to the turn of the 20th, the area called Palestine was a deserted waste land that belonged to the Ottoman Empire, based in Turkey.

‘Palestinianism’ in and of itself lacks any substance of its own. Arab society on the West Bank and Gaza suffer from a deep social cleavage created by a host of rivalries based on divergent geographic, historical, sociological and familial allegiances.

What glues Palestinians together is a carefully nurtured hatred of Israel and the rejection of Jewish nationhood.

NY Dem Congresswoman Asked About Fast And Furious: Never Heard Of It…
Wow…Something as big as this and she has no idea what the Daily Caller reporter is talking about.  I wonder just how many in Washington really don’t know or just pretend they don’t know?  Either way, it’s a disgrace!!  I first saw this at Weasel Zippers, but it’s originally from the The Daily Caller.  (Thanks guys!)
I can’t get the video to load, so click here to see video.

Hmm...What new lie will get them back?

I’m sure he’s thinking this can’t be true.  Maybe they ran to the “EVIL” tea-partiers.  Actually, I’m afraid they didn’t think he was far enough to the left.  I’ve noticed he’ll use any lie or distortion to try to get them back.

This is unbelievable. They will literally do anything to take away our rights. Why aren’t people making more noise about this. I was just a young kid and I remember the outrage about Nixon trying to cover up a scandal. This administration is trying to cover up being accessories to crimes. What does that mean? Well here’s the definition from Dictionary.com:

3. Law .
a. Also called accessory before the fact . a person who, though not present during the commission of a felony, is guilty of having aided and abetted another, who committed the felony.
b.  Also called accessory after the fact . a person who knowingly conceals or assists another who has committed a felony. Compare principal ( def. 9b ) .

Now one border guard is dead and who knows how many of these guns were used by Mexican drug cartels to kill innocent Mexican people.

If Obama wins another term, he will do whatever he can to take our guns. We will lose the second amendment right to bear arms. Look what they let happen just so they could find reasons to take guns from the people. We need to stand up and make noise about this Fast and Furious scandal. What Nixon had hidden was nothing compared to this administration trying to bury this scandalous story. I can’t believe people are not more outraged. Well I’m outraged!

Get up!! We need to get up before we lose our constitution and our rights. Wake up!!!

Check this out:

(CBS News) — Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation “Fast and Furious” to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.
In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the “big fish.” But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called “gunwalking,” and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

Every time I try to stop worrying, I see something like this.  At least I’m not the only one who sees what all the turmoil around the world is leading up to.  Even my husband thinks I’m crazy.  I just keep on trying to buy extra food every time I shop and extra things like soap and toilet paper.  I hope I never have to use it, but with two teenage boys, it will get used one way or the other.  I would rather believe I’ve fallen prey to a fear-monger, but I’ve been taught to store necessities since I was a small child.

I wish I didn’t see what’s happening in the financial market or what’s happening in Isreal.  My mom taught me the importance of Israel to our world when I was a teenager.  I heard someone from church once say that if there was World War III, it would start with turmoil in the Middle East.  I don’t know about you, but that’s all I see happening now.  I won’t succumb to the antisemitism of the world.  I was taught to stand up for God’s chosen land and people no matter what.  I won’t be like the people in Europe during WWII who were to afraid to stand up for the Jews.  I will not let the same thing happen here without doing my best to defend the Jews here and all over the world.

Just because we try to avoid the signs on the news and elsewhere doesn’t mean nothing is happening.  Ignoring it won’t make it go away.  Pretending it isn’t as bad as it seems won’t make it go away.  I believe we need to pray for Heavenly Father to intervene during these times, but I also believe we have to make our voices heard without fear.  We can no longer stand silent, hoping it will just solve itself.  We have to have faith in God and stand up without fear.  We are in his hands and that means we shouldn’t fear the opinions of men.  Stand up for what you believe and you will overcome your fear.

I can’t take it any more. Did someone order an apocalypse? I know there is always one bearing down on us somewhere, but come on! Have you read the headlines lately? By Friday of last week, I was ready for a major meltdown.

What the hell is wrong with us? Everything is upside down and backwards. Just the highlights:

1. Europe is melting down and about to fall into a black hole of debt which will draw us into the whirlpool right along with them. No one seems to really want to control their spending. It’s like the elite are paying all their crony friends, providing for themselves and knowingly bringing on the destruction of finances planet-wide. Screw the common man – they are taking the system for all it’s worth and then getting out before the implosion hits.

2. Our government — in secret — gave out 7.7 Trillion dollars worth of bailout money to banks – worldwide. Where the hell did they get it? I suspect, they just ‘digitized’ it and spread it around. It made NO difference, just forestalled the inevitable implosion. See #1 above. Say it with me: Weimar Republic.

Moron Alert!!

Ted Koppel, Elitist Hack: ‘Corrosive Partisanship’ That Fox News Started Is Ruining the Country | NewsBusters.org

Wow!  Did you know we’re too stupid to understand the news unless the Elite Media fixes it so we understand the REAL meaning of what’s going on?  With too much information, we just don’t understand what’s happening.

Well, I’ll tell you what I think.  I think with the internet and 24 hour news stations, we are more aware of what’s going on than ever.  I don’t need Toad Koppel, or anyone else explaining the news to me with their spin.  I’m trying to figure out why the media thinks we’re not as smart as they are.  They don’t have a clue  what’s happening out here in the middle states or our ability to understand what’s going on.

I trust the American people are capable of understanding what’s true and what’s not.  We’re not the MORONS!

Read this Newsbusters article and see what you think:

By Tim Graham | November 26, 2011 | 08:04

In the same issue of Broadcasting & Cable magazine in which Al Gore described the public’s deep yearning for Current TV, former ABC anchor (and current NBC Rock Center special correspondent ) Ted Koppel issued one of his lectures on how the elite media has lost its way amidst all the rabble and their incessant partisan blogging and partisan cable news.

To Koppel, the nation was much better off when it was guided by a small and wise (and supposedly nonpartisan) national media elite that had the brains to separate the wheat from the chaff of information and tell the public how it should think. That’s all been ruined now by the “democratization of journalism,” and the public will ruin the country with their incessantly partisan ravings. Here’s some of that critique:

Many years ago, I offended some of the photojournalists among my colleagues in making a critical observation about CNN. Simply pointing a live camera at an unfolding event, and then transmitting that signal around the world, was not, I suggested, journalism. It was a breathtaking feat of technology, but journalism requires a great deal more. It requires editing, separating the significant from the trivial. It requires context; an explanation of how what we’re seeing fits into a larger pattern of events. It requires reporting; the process by which we establish, as best we can within the limits of deadlines, the veracity of what is being said, sometimes even what is being seen.

Thirty or forty years ago, I used to tell audiences, with a mixture of pride and chagrin, that while doctors and lawyers needed a license to practice, that while everyone needed a license to drive, or hunt, or fish, nobody needed a license to be a journalist. Of course, back then, the only way to communicate to a national audience was to get a job with a national news magazine, like Time or Newsweek, or with a national broadcasting network, of which there were only three. So, the opportunity was more theoretical than real. Still, with the advent of the Internet, I used to tell college students that the capacity to communicate globally was now, literally in their hands. I never actually expected them to do it. Well, here it is: the democratization of journalism. And somewhat belatedly, some of us are recalling that the Founding Fathers weren’t all that enamored of pure democracy, when they were crafting what would become our system of government. Representational government – not democracy, for heaven’s sake! The American public, it was feared, was too likely to be swayed by the passions of the moment.

Just imagine if the public was kept informed, round the clock, of the votes – sometimes even the intentions – of their congressperson. Imagine if they were exposed, round the clock, to a partisan harangue designed to inflame their pre-existing biases. And imagine if voters could then instantly communicate their displeasure directly to the office of their elected representative. Well, the consequences to our political system are too horrible to contemplate. But what was unimaginable in the 18th century has become commonplace in the 21st. More than ever beofre, we live today in a world of instant reaction, constant judgment, and corrosive partisanship.

AP Story: Deep Cuts Which Arent Are a Threat to the Economy | NewsBusters.org

Is it just crazy math or are they lying through their teeth?  You decide. Let’s see, they plan on spending so much for certain things, over and above what they’re already spending.  Then they decide to spend less than planned and they call that a cut.  Hmm…Sounds like lying to me. Those aren’t really cuts now, are they?

Oh no!! Did I tell another LIE!!
